Eunice Francine (Shamburger) Boone

Eunice Francine Boone was born December 29, 1937 to the Late James E. and Lonia M. Shamburger in Robbins, NC. Our beloved Eunice left this earth after a brief, but difficult illness. a fighter until the end, she passed away on April 4, 2023 at the age of 85. 

Eunice attended Moore County school and went on to marry Frank Arthur Boone who passed in 1995. later meeting her sweetheart Kirby "KC" Winstead, who she remained with until her last days. 

Eunice began babysitting children of family and friends until she re-entered the workforce. in 1976 she began working at Capital Heights Elementary School as a Parent Teacher Advocate in Capital Height MD. Her love for children led her tp become a Foster Parent in the State of Maryland. 

Eunice was a fiercely strong and independent mother, raising nine equally tenacious and strong children. Eunice was everyone's go to person and teller of all truths, she did not hold back her opinion. our family would bot be where it is today if we did not have Eunice as a mother. When she wasn't cooking a meal or cleaning, you could find her shopping away at one of her favorite stores: Eunice took pride in her home, and having a hot meal ready. Her doors were always open just like her heart. 

Our beloved family was defined by love, discipline and respect. Without Eunice's love and support, the lives of many in our family would have been drastically different.

Eunice was preceded in death by Derrick, Raymond, and Charles "Dandre" Boone, her loving sons. Helen D. Shamburger, Donna L. Mance, Rosa E. Maness, Henry Shamburger, Sr. and Willy L. Shamburger her dearly departed siblings.

Eunice leaves to cherish her memories

John Lee Shamburger (Joyce), of IL; Cheryl Wilkins (Shannon) of CA; David, Robert Anthony, Melanie, Rachelle and Merika Boone all of NC. Her devoted grandchildren, Brandon Shamburger, Alex Craven, Ryan Wilkins, Kyasis Alston, Aundrea Boone, Taniya Boone, Aliveya Adams, Dasia Boone, Kaleigh Wilkins, Charles Boone, TaKiyah Boone, Dionte Boone, Anika Adams, Charleigh Boone, Chance Boone, Charleston Boone, and Donte Boone. Including her sweet great grandchildren, Olivia Craven and Zakai Craven.

Remaining siblings Lola Nobles and Jimmy Shamburger of Robbins, NC. Daughter in Law Lorie Boone. God Children, Glen Henderson and Tanya Dowd. And a host of nieces and nephews and loved ones. 

We mourn the loss of our mother, sister and friend, We wholeheartedly encourage any and all who knew Eunice to remember the laughter she bought to this world.
