Terry Wesley Wyatt, Jr.

Terry Wesley Wyatt Jr., affectionately known as Boot, was born on September 21, 1974 in Pinehurst North Carolina. He was the oldest child born to Terry Sr and Dianne Wyatt. Terry Jr was called home at his residence on July 2, 2023.

Boot was a 1993 graduate of North Moore High School. He enjoyed carpentry and was a cable technician by trade. He was a sports fanatic, an exceptional athlete and enjoyed sharing his knowledge, talent and experience with the youth. Boot especially enjoyed assisting with coaching the AAU basketball team.

Watching Carolina basketball was a favorite pastime of his and he wore his Carolina blue proudly. In fact, anything he wore, he wore it proudly as evidenced by the fact that he had to match from head to toe—whether he was going to church or going to the store. And though he enjoyed “looking good”, Boot’s passion was people. He had a way with children, and they gravitated to him. He enjoyed being around people—especially, family and friends. He was always the designated driver on family trips—and he normally made the trips in a lot less time than anybody else. The impact that he made on the lives of those who knew him was undeniable. He never met a stranger—and the strangers never met anyone like Boot. His friendship, love and laughter will be greatly missed.

Boot was preceded in death by his Great Grandparents William and Novella Shamberger, Vellie Thompson and Arnetta Barrett; Grandparents-- Phyllis Shamberger and Perry Royal Wyatt; a brother-Davy Christopher Wyatt and an uncle-Gregory Maurice Shamberger.

He leaves to carry on his legacy his parents: Terry Wesley Wyatt Sr. and Dianne Shamberger Wyatt; his children: Aleeha Solomon and Alaija Stallings-both of Akron Ohio; Brothers: Gregory Wyatt of Carlisle, Pa and Phillip Allred of West End NC; Sisters: Cassandra Wyatt of Woodstock Ga and Meredith Hundley of Charlotte NC; A special niece: Aisha Lilly of Robbins NC; Grandparents: Gertrude Wyatt of Fayetteville NC and Claudis Barrett of West End, NC; Uncles: Perry Wyatt (Carol) of Greensboro NC and Roderick Wyatt (Sheree) of Champaign IL Aunts: Clara Thurman of Akron, OH; Helena Poole of Gastonia NC; Rita Brewington (Liston) of Carthage NC; Maria Tate (Nathaniel)  of Fayetteville NC;  great uncles and aunts, nieces and nephews; Special Cousins: Claude Henry Person and Rev. Grant Smith both of Robbins NC; Special Friends: Chris, Patrick and Danny Pennington, Rodney Williams; and numerous other relatives and friends.
